As the original Eee PC designers to Asus was no easy task to create a notebook ultra attractive, while making it inexpensive to produce. Customers have also indicated they wanted a larger screen and keyboard bigger, so that all these elements have been integrated into a very small footprint.

The chassis of the arrivals joined with tight tolerances reasonably feel thick plastic (although the white plastic beads look as cheap) and the display hinges are molded into the body with the battery. Overall, the EEA PC 900 is almost identical to the original Eee PC. The only differences are the larger screen and a little deeper dimension (front to rear) to accommodate the greatest keyboard.

The EEA PC 900 has a nice 8.9-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution. Although this was perhaps not the most impressive resolution that we have seen, it is much more beautiful than the native 800 x 480 resolution on the original Eee PC 4G. However, most owners of the original Eee PC 4G use modified drivers display at 1000 x 600 or higher resolution on the original Eee PC ... if the highest screen resolution is not as impressive as it could be.

The keyboard on the EEA PC 900 is very, very compact. The first days spent typing on the keyboard will probably be very frustrating that the small footprint and tiny keys to ask you to use a "hunt and peck" style strike rather than the traditional methods of typing. This means that passwords get mangled, e-mails look like gibberish, and play games that require keyboard commands becomes quite aggravating.

The EEA PC 900 is a little snappy budget notebook. While the 900MHz ultra-low voltage processor does not implement a modern Core 2 Duo. The flash-based disk storage on the EEA PC 900 with the help of benchmarks because they provide almost instant data access time.

In summary, the EEA PC 900 provides performance for travel and short-term, but this mini notebook is not designed to be a first working computers.
